GLENN: I got a letter from a woman in Arizona. She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership: I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance. Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you. If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.

Obama's 100 Days of Disappointment, Double Talk and Deception

He has squandered his chance to be a great president with attack on the right and knee jerk obedience to the left!

Wednesday, April 29 marks the end of Obama's first 100 days in office. All week long we can expect glowing tributes from the "news" media similar to the cheerleading we saw from them during the campaign. They seem to focus more on what Michelle Obama is wearing than what her husband is doing or more importantly, what he is NOT doing to address key problems in American economic, domestic and foreign policy.

To provide some counterpoint to media cheerleading the following list, in rough chronological order, reminds us all of how Obama has failed to live up to his campaign promises to be post partisan president who ushers in an era of cooperation and unity.

1. The first sign that things might get ugly during the Obama years came on Inauguration Day when the crowd, well below the reported two million people or the five million forecast, turned the National Mall into a trash dump. So much for a "green" Inaugural.
2. Obama supporters on the Capitol Grounds for the Inaugural boo President Bush demonstrating the level of class we have seen from many of them these first one hundred days.
3. Minutes after taking office Obama's official White House web site was up and running with the first official attacks on the Bush Administration which had showed such graciousness to the Obama's during the transition. It was a clear signal that Obama intended to use Bush for a scapegoat and that he had no intention of ending partisan warfare.
4. Obama's first major act was the signing of an executive order to close the terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo Bay within one year. The order was all show as it lacked any specifics on what to do with the terrorists many of whom have been described as "the worst of the worst" sort of killers. This order was an early signal that Obama intends to continue running a campaign against the Bush Administration rather than governing.
5. Obama also demanded that the military tribunals of terrorists be put on hold until he could study the issue. This judicial process had already been reviewed by Congress and the Supreme Court over a number of years and had finally reached the stage where trials could begin. Much of that work has stopped.
6. Obama overturned Bush era prohibitions on using federal money to fund abortions overseas and opened the door to harvesting embryos for stem cell research.
7. How many votes can $1.2 TRILLION in federal spending buy? Obama and the Democrats introduce an economic stimulus bill that focuses more on satisfying a 40 year wish list of liberal demands than any sort of recognizable bipartisan effort to address pressing economic needs.
8. Making it clear that he intends to dump his campaign promise to create a post partisan era, Obama tells Congressman Eric Cantor "I won... I will trump you on that" when Cantor requests a more bipartisan solution to the stimulus bill.
9. In the same meeting Obama signals the first attack on Rush Limbaugh telling Congressmen: "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done."
10. After campaigning against using fear as a political tool Obama unleashes the biggest scaremongering campaign ever to persuade Americans to accept his big government boondoggle masquerading as an economic recovery plan.
11. Despite telling the rest of us to go green to save the planet Obama turns up the thermostat in the Oval Office so that visitors are comfortable in their shirt sleeves instead of the jackets required when Bush was in office. Chief strategist David Axelrod said “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”
12. Obama nominates Tim Geithner as Secretary of the Treasury knowing full well the man he wants to put in charge of the Internal Revenue Service only paid $43,000 in back taxes when he was nominated. Senate Democrats call it an "honest mistake."
13. Nancy Killefer, Obama's nominee to be Chief Performance Officer in charge of making government more efficient withdraws her nomination after it is learned she has a tax problem too.
14. Senate Democrats briefly rally around former Majority Leader Tom Daschle who owed $100k in taxes for the benefit of a car and driver. Democrats called it another "honest mistake." Daschle later withdraws.
15. Signaling that cutting defense will be a top priority even while government grows in every other area Obama requests Defense Chiefs cut military spending by 10% in a White House meeting on January 30th.
16. Obama's order to halt terrorist trials at Guantanamo Bay results in charges being dropped against a suspect in the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole. Angry families meet with Obama one day later and want to know why?
17. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office announced that President Obama's economic recovery package will actually hurt the economy more in the long run than if he were to do nothing.
18. Signaling yet another disturbing partisan move, White House officials let it be known they intend to control the census, which determines congressional district apportionment and federal benefits, from the White House.
19. Obama's State Dept. praises the vote in Venezuela which gives dictator Hugo Chavez the ability to become president for life.
20. After Obama bashed President Bush repeatedly on the federal government's response to Hurricane Katrina, any mention of the lingering problems in that disaster area disappear from Democrat stimulus bills.
21. Obama's economic policy is so disturbing that even the Russians are warning us. Here's the money quote from Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's speech in Davos Switzerland: "In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state's role absolute. In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated."
22. Obama insults Great Britain, our #1 friend and ally in the world by banishing the bust of Winston Churchill from the White House. One Obama official went so far as to say that there is no "special relationship" with Britain.
23. Eric Holder, Obama's Attorney General accuses us of being a "nation of cowards" when it came to race issues.
24. Obama's Energy Secretary Steven Chu expressed total cluelessness about his job when he said this in February: "I will be speaking and learning more about this in order to figure out what the U.S. position should be and what the president's position is."
25. As part of his campaign to undermine the military Obama further enraged military families by releasing Binyam Mohamed from Guantanamo Bay.
26. After insisting that he would veto any spending bill with earmarks, Obama signs one in secret that contains 9,000 earmarks of pork.
27. Making matters worse Obama acolytes claim the spending bill he signed was a "Bush holdover" completely ignoring that an entirely new congress was seated and that Obama would be the one signing it.
28. Following up on his earlier efforts at fiscal responsibility, Obama introduces his budget blueprint which triples the national debt in ten years with deficits in the trillions as far as the eye can see.
29. Obama's budget is based on rosy scenarios that directly contradict the analysis by the Congressional Budget Office and Blue Chip Economic Indicators.
30. Obama delivered his first big speech on Iraq where he never used the word "victory.
31. Hints that Obama may hand Russia a veto over NATO missile defense systems fails to gain any help with Iranian nuclear issue.]
32. "I've been practicing bowling. I bowled a 129. It was like the Special Olympics or something." -- Obama on "The Tonight Show."
33. Allies like Poland, the Czech Republic and Ukraine are left wondering if they can count on American resolve after hints of missile defense pullout surface.
34. Rather than deal with mounting economic problems the White House organizes a campaign to attack Rush Limbaugh who said he doesn't want Obama to succeed in destroying the country.
35. Continuing to show his contempt for the "special relationship" with Great Britain, Obama disses visiting Prime Minister Brown with a very low key White House welcome.
36. Further inflaming already raw sensitivities Obama gives Brown a stack of DVD's as a welcome gift. DVD's that won't play on British DVD players.
37. While America's unemployment rate continued to rise and Obama trashed bonuses for corporate executives his Vice President Joe Biden visits a Miami Beach resort and tells big union bosses: “You all brought me to the dance a long time ago, and it’s time we start dancing.”
38. Obama's Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, embarrasses us all when she hands the Russian foreign minister a button that translates to "overcharge" when she meant "reset." Some way to start off a new tack in relations.
39. Hillary sticks her foot in her mouth again by telling a group of European legislators "I feel the same way about our own democracy, which has been around a lot longer than European democracy." Apparently she's never heard of Greece.
40. The 9/11 terrorists on trial at Guantanamo Bay make a mockery of Obama's plan to trash the Bush Administration for how it treated terrorists by declaring "With regards to these nine accusations that you are putting us on trial for; to us, they are not accusations. To us they are badges of honor, which we carry with pride. Many thanks to God, for his kind gesture, and choosing us to perform the act of Jihad for his cause."
41. Treasury Secretary Geithner seems overwhelmed by his new job and Obama left nearly all of the key offices in that department unfilled for months.
42. Obama pushes a "cap and trade" program which does nothing to save the environment but does allow for massive income redistribution and more taxes.
43. Economists give Obama and Treasury Secretary Geithner failing grades for efforts to revive the economy.
44. After bashing McCain on the same subject during the campaign the Obama Administration opens the door to taxing health care benefits.
45. Wayward conservatives realize they were conned by Obama's promise to be a centrist and begin drifting back to the fold. They said we who warned Obama was a socialist were scaremongers. I guess they learned the hard way.
46. The Pew Poll shows that Obama is the most divisive and polarizing president in the modern era.
47. Early Obama backer investor Warren Buffet worries that Obama's effort to push a liberal wish list is "a mistake, I think, when you've got one overriding objective [the economy], to try and muddle it up with a bunch of other things."
48. Business pundit Jim Kramer is attacked by the White House after saying Obama is "following a radical agenda" that led to the "greatest destruction of wealth by a President."
49. Even the news media began to wonder if Obama had not gone too far. Stuart Taylor at National Journal said "The house is burning down. It's no time to be watering the grass."
50. Even Obama cheerleaders like Paul Krugman at the New York Times was concerned: "Among people I talk to there's a growing sense of frustration, even panic, over Mr. Obama's failure to match his words with deeds."
51. In March we learned of coordinated White House efforts to play attack politics towards critics rather than focus on governing.
52. Annette Nazareth, who was nominated for Deputy Treasury Secretary withdrew her name for undisclosed "personal reasons" after a monthlong probe into her taxes.
53. Obama calls the "fundamentals" of our economy "sound" after trashing John McCain for saying the same thing during the campaign.
54. Continuing attack politics as opposed to governing, White House Press Secretary Gibbs rudely slams former Vice President Cheney after an interview he gave critical of the Administration: "I guess Rush Limbaugh was busy, so they trotted out the next most popular member of the Republican cabal."
55. Obama's town hall meeting in the White House featured questions from a member of the pro-Obama Service Employees International Union, a member of the Democratic National Committee who campaigned for Obama among Hispanics during the primary; a former Democratic candidate for Virginia state delegate who endorsed Obama last fall in an op-ed in the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star; and a Virginia businessman who was a donor to Obama's campaign in 2008." -- Washington Post, 3/27
56. Obama becomes the butt of jokes and this classic web video for his unprecedented reliance on teleprompters.
57. Showing how clueless Obama is even with a teleprompter he reads the wrong speech during a St. Patrick's Day visit by the Irish Prime Minister.
58. Obama's Treasury Dept. was behind the change in the stimulus bill that protected bonuses for AIG executives.
59. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is the only man in that job who could make Scott McClellan, the hapless Press officer for President Bush look good. This video shows that the man may need his own teleprompter.
60. Obama's "punch drunk" performance on 60 minutes showed just how out of touch he is with the economic reality of what is happening to average Americans.
61. Obama violates NAFTA and the U.S. Constitution by his ban on Mexican trucks on U.S. highways in another reward for his union cronies.
62. From President Obama's news conference at the end of March:"This is a big ocean liner. It's not a speedboat. It doesn't turn around immediately. But we're in a better place because of the decisions we have made." So, full speed ahead on the most massive federal spending spree of all time!
63. While Obama and the Democrats were publicly demanding that AIG executives return their bonuses, we learned that Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, received hundreds of thousands of dollars in stock and options as a director in failed mortgage giant Freddie Mac. Appointed to the job as payback by President Clinton
64. As the federal government takeover of General Motors got underway Obama declared: "Starting today, the United States government will stand behind your warranty."
65. Kathleen Sibelius, another Obama nominee with tax problems admits "errors" and pays $7,000 in back taxes. Another honest mistake? The Senate confirms her anyway.
66. Despite his pledge not to raise ANY of the taxes for people making less than $250,000 Obama raises cigarette taxes which impacts the poor and minorities the most.
67. Obama bows to King Abudllah of Saudi Arabia at G20 meeting in London.
68. Obama's press operation lies about Obama bowing making us wonder what else that isn't painfully obvious they are lying about?
69. Michelle Obama violates Royal protocol and puts her arm around Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.
70. Obama gives Queen Elizabeth II an iPod with his speeches and some show tunes.
71. In a speech in France Obama calls America "arrogant" and "dismissive."
72. The North Koreans launch a missile over Japan despite the Obama Administration begging them not to.
73. Obama demands united action on North Korea: "All nations must come together to build a stronger, global regime. That’s why we must stand shoulder to shoulder to pressure the North Koreans to change course.” The U.N. and every world government ignores him.
74. Obama requests more help from our allies in Afghanistan. He is ignored
75. French President Sarkozy sees what so many of us see and calls Obama "weak."
76. Dismissing the North Korean missile threat, Obama orders the Pentagon to cut missile defense.
77. Obama asks Pakistan for assurances aid will be spent to counter terrorism. Pakistand says "NO" and demands control of Predator drones.
78. Reviews of Obama's first world apology tour are not good. One British writer calls him "President Pantywaist - new surrender monkey on the block."
79. Hinting at more embarrassing family problems than Jimmy Carter endured, Obama's half brother is accused of sexual assault on an underage girl.
80. Obama's Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, insults our troops and raises suspicions of a coming police state by releasing a report suggesting right wingers are at risk of becoming domestic terrorists.
81. Secretary Napolitano later insults our neighbors to the north in Canada by wrongly saying the 9/11 hijackers crossed the border from Canada.
82. Obama confuses Tax Day on April 15 with April Fools Day by declaring "families that earn less than $250,000 a year will not see their taxes increase by a single dime. And we have kept to those promises that were made during the campaign." See #59 above.
83. Showing how out of touch he is, the White House admits that Obama was "unaware" of the tea parties that were protesting his big spending/big government boondoggle nationwide.
84. The Obama White House demands that Georgetown University, a Catholic school, cover religious symbols before Obama speech.
85. Obama buddies it up with Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's president for life, in photographs that send a clear negative signal to democrat and human rights activists in Latin America.
86. Following up on that first succesful propaganda coup Chavez gives Obama a book "Open Veins of Latin America" which is widely regarded outside of leftist circles as "The Idiots Bible."
87. The Obama Comedy Hour opened with his latest bid to take fiscal responsiblity seriously by making a miniscule $100 million cut in federal spending while running a deficit of nearly two trillion.
88. Obama throws another bone to his left wing masters by releasing the Bush Justice Dept/CIA memos with the legal justification for the enhanced interrogation techniques which saved thousands of American lives.
89. Obama raises the prospect of prosecuting Bush Administration officials for their role in formulating enhanced interrogation policy. But ignores requests to release memos which show how interrogations saved lives.
90. Obama again trashes the military and risks inflamming Islamic terrorists by agreeing to release old photos of alleged abuse of Iraqi prisoners.
91. Obama's muddled and confused signals on interrogations cause concern at CIA and risk agents not willing to connect the dots in future to stop terror attacks.
92. Obama broke his promise to honor the campaign pledge he made to allow the public to have five days to read bills before signing. \
93. Obama broke his promise to end income tax on seniors making less than $50,000.
94. Obama broke his promise to prohibit lobbyists from working in his Administration in their former fields.
95. Obama broke his promise to provide a $3,000 tax credit to businesses who hire new workers.
96. Obama broke his promise to allow penaly free withdrawals for hardship from retirement accounts.
97. Obama broke his promise to recognize Armenian genocide after criticizing Bush officals for not doing so.
98. Obama continues to be in campaign mode and ignores the difficult work of governing. Results matter more than photo-ops. Someone should tell him.
99. Showing total insenstivity on religious matters he tried to appoint pro-abortion Caroline Kennedy to be Ambassador to the Vatican.

And the big 100 is:

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Henrietta Hughes is still struggling to make ends meet.

Unemployed and homeless, she caught national attention during President Obama's visit to Fort Myers when she asked for his help. After her plea, Hughes was given a free place to stay, but she still can't find a job and may soon find herself homeless again.

From CNN to Fox to WINK News, her story was everywhere. Today though you'll find her at the Career Service Center in Fort Myers.

And Edith Childs, who led the "yes we can" brigades for Obama in South Carolina in the key primary phase is dissapointed. she's not interested in hearing his stories about flying to Europe or fighting pirates. "I guess he's just working his way down the list, and he'll get to us," she says.

Tell that to the millions out of work who thought Obama was going to solve all their problems with empty campaign slogans and broken promises. Remember the words of Peggy Joseph in Florida who thought all her troubles would be over and she wouldn't have to worry about putting gas in her car and paying the mortgage.

OATH KEEPERS WILL MUSTER ON THE LEXINGTON GREEN, APRIL 19th, 2009 TO RENEW OUR OATHS TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION! JOIN US!

Oath Keepers has just been invited to participate in a special free rally on the Lexington Green this April 19, sponsored by Committees of Safety (founded by Walter Reddy and with Dr. Edwin Vieira as Honorary Chairman).

Committees of Safety has invited Oath Keepers' founder Stewart Rhodes to be one of four speakers at the event, and we are in turn inviting all of YOU to join us on the Lexington Green to celebrate "The shot heard around the world"- April 19, 1775, where the first fighting in the Revolutionary War occurred.

Other speakers will be Dr. Edwin Vieira - scholar on the history of the events leading up to the Revolution and also on the historic militia; Walter Reddy - Founder, Committees of Safety; and
Garrett Lear - The Patriot Pastor - who was born in Lexington, and who's ancestor stood at Lexington Green on April 19, 1775 and faced off British troops.

And, for those of you who have never taken the oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, here is your chance to do it on a special day, in a special place, on hollowed ground, in honor of the embattled farmers - Oath Keepers all - who stood and fought at Lexington and Concord on that day so long ago and then beat the hell out of the Regulars all the way back to Boston, along "Battle Road."

We can't imagine a more soul stirring experience than to stand in ranks, right there where those heroes stood, and mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor in defense of the liberty those men won for us and in defense of the Constitution.

Join us! Veterans, active duty, police, fire fighters, and dedicated patriots. We realize this is short notice, but if you can get there, please do join us for what will most assuredly be an electrifying experience you will never forget.

The official event will run from 12 noon to 3 pm, on Sunday, April 19 but Stewart Rhodes, Dave Freeman, Jim Ayala, and others within the national Oath Keepers organization will be there from Friday evening, all weekend, and part of Monday and you can expect that we will make full use of our time together in fellowship with our brothers in arms, whether it be in quiet contemplation on the Green or at Concord Bridge, walking along Battle Road, touring historic sights in Boston, or over some pints of Ale at a local historic tavern.

All are welcome. We would be honored to meet you and spend time with you.

SPECIAL FILMING OF THE EVENTS, OF OATH KEEPERS READING OF OUR DECLARATION, AND FILMING OF YOUR OATHS AND TESTIMONIALS.

We will bring several cameras and film crews and will be filming the entire ceremony, and will also be filming those Oath Keepers who are willing to take part in an outreach film project we are working on. Part of that project will include individual active duty, veterans, police, fire fighters, etc. reading off parts of the Declaration of Ten Orders We Will Not Obey and also reading off parts of the oath to defend the Constitution. All of that material will be compiled into a ten minute montage of all who participate, reading the Declaration and Oath, with each of you on film reading a few words or sentences each.

And we will also be filming the full, individual testimonials of those who are willing to give their own personal testimonials on video.

And all of those films will be used as part of our outreach efforts to active duty military, police, veterans, etc. and will be put online on Youtube, on the new, upcoming Oathkeepers.org website, and elsewhere on the web.

We are most honored to have you join us, and with your email, we now consider you a member of Oath Keepers and a fellow guardian of the Republic.  We thank you for answering the call, and we very much look forward to working with you to save our nation.  See below for what we expect from you as a member.

We are still constructing our more formal website which will be at www.oathkeepers.org, (the blog will remain as it is) and once that is up and running, we may have a more formal membership joining process, but you will be considered a member regardless, and shall remain so until you tell us otherwise.   If you want to send us more complete info on you, such as name and phone number, all the better.  If you’re active duty, feel free to remain anonymous if you prefer and just touch base to let us know how you’re spreading the word.  If you are active duty and insist on posting a testimonial with your name on it, as a few have, then we will also add you to the membership list.  It is your choice.

If you do not wish to be considered a member, please email us and let us know. 

This is an association of active duty military, police, veterans, and fire fighters (and other first responders) and our mission is to focus on such people who took the oath, or who otherwise stand as guardians, and make sure they stand firm.  But we also accept those who never took the oath but who support our mission of outreach to active duty personnel.  So, even for those of you who never took an oath, you are welcome as honorary members in support of our mission.   You do not have to be a veteran, police officer, or active military to be a part of what we’re doing.   You just have to be determined to leave your children and grand-children a free country. 

If you know anyone else who may be interested in joining us, please let them know.

NOW THAT YOU ARE A MEMBER

One thing you will NEVER receive from us here at Oath Keepers is some horrid form letter trying to scare you by describing all of the assaults on liberty but then asking only for your money.   We hate those!  Yes, we do accept donations and any donation you can give would be tremendously appreciated and would help us greatly in our mission, but we will ALWAYS ask you to do more than that – to actually get out there and help spread the message.  And even if you haven’t got a dime to spare you are most welcome as a brother or sister, and we value your participation because the success of this mission, the fate of our Republic, and whether our children and grand-children will be free, depends on our conduct, not on how much money we have.   You can always give of your time, your intellect, your passion, and your honor, and those are priceless.

What we expect you to do to help fulfill the Oath Keepers’ mission (and note that most of this costs nothing, or at most just a few dollars):

1.      Send in your own testimonial (if you have not done so already).  It is vital for others to read your powerful and moving words of commitment (and they are ALL powerful and moving, trust us on that!).   There is strength and courage in knowing that others feel as you do, so do not hide your light – your fire of liberty – under a bushel. Share it with the world!  Send in your testimonial, and we will post it.  We are backlogged somewhat at this time, but yours will be posted, so please do send it in. 

2.      Make a video tape of your testimonial!  A picture is worth a thousand words, and a short video of five minutes or so of you stating your commitment to defend the Constitution is worth ten thousand words.  And such a testimonial by a veteran, and in particular combat vets, is absolutely priceless.  You can post it yourself on youtube and send us the link, or if you need help and advice on getting it done, email us.

3.      Send emails to people you know, telling them about Oath Keepers and our mission, and telling them about important Oath Keepers events, and encouraging them to spread the word, especially to active duty military, police, and veterans.

4.      Post online about Oath Keepers and our mission and events on chat boards, news boards, etc. online.

5.      Visit the Oath Keepers blog often and comment on the testimonials.  The brave active duty and veterans who send in testimonials deserve your thanks and support.  It will mean so much to them to hear from you, and it would be a shame for a testimonial from one of those brave guardians of our Republic to go without thanks from you.

6.      Print up and pass out Oath Keepers materials, such as our Declaration of Orders We Will NOT Obey, or our Principles We Defend.  Pass them out to your local police, fire fighters, and any military personnel near you.  Feel free to make up your own fliers, brochures, business cards, etc. and pass them out. (just be sure to accurately reflect our positions and to include our website address)  We are working on easy to print up versions you will be able to get off of our site.

7.      Send letters to the editor of your local paper, telling readers about Oath Keepers.

8.      Take out ads in your local paper, telling people about Oath Keepers.   You’d be surprised how cheap that can be.  One man we know took out a half page ad in his local paper for just $12.00, telling his neighbors about Oath Keepers. 

9.      Spread the word among any groups or associations you belong to.  There will always be veterans among them, and people with relatives in the military and police. 

10.  Form a local Oath Keepers meetup.com group.  It’s easy to do, and is a great way to meet others in your local area so you can get off the web and get out there and meet each other face to face and work together to spread the word about Oath Keepers in your community.   We do think Meetup is the best system, and we encourage you to use that mechanism.  Go to www.meetup.com to get started, and contact us if you need advice.  Oath Keepers is not a top-down org.  We want it to be grass-roots and we want you to use your own creativity and initiative.  We only ask that you always keep in mind you will be an ambassador for all Oath Keepers in all you do.  We do not tolerate racism, or incitement to violence.  But so long as you act with honor, integrity, good will, and sincere desire to spread the message, you are invited to use your own initiative at the local level.  We will provide more details and suggestions on how to do that in an upcoming email.

11.  Step up and volunteer to be a state-wide police, military, or veteran liaison and coordinator.  We are looking for a few good men (and women) who can act in those capacities.  We also seek liaison officers for each of the major military branches.  Email us at oathkeepersok@gmail.com for details on how to apply.  Police officers, please contact national peace officer liaison Dave Freeman, Las Vegas Metro (retired), directly at freeman777@cox.net.  All others, contact Stewart Rhodes at oathkeepersok@gmail.com or at stewart.rhodes@aya.yale.edu

12.  Join our Oath Keepers online forum and communicate with other Oath Keepers to share ideas, thoughts, to give your support and encouragement, or just to discuss topics related to the oath and our mission. 

13.  JOIN US ON LEXINGTON GREEN, MASSACHUSETTS, ON APRIL 19, 2009 TO STAND WITH US AND RENEW YOUR OATH OR TAKE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME.  Details are on the blog. 

14.  Join others for live events,  Even if you cannot make it to Lexington Green this year, you can still meet other Oath Keepers in your local are on that special day to renew your oaths or to take it for the first time.

15.  Send us your ideas on how to make our mission more successful.   We appreciate and respect your creativity.  You may think of something we would never think of, so please share your ideas.

16.  Soon we will have Oath Keepers patches, insignia, bumper stickers, T-shirts, banners, pins, challenge coins, etc.  The point of those will be to help us all spread the message and to show your support for the mission (and it will also be part psyops!) but none of that will ever replace you putting in the time and adding your voice. 

17.  Donate  – what you can, when you can.  This effort does take funding, and your donations are vital in supporting it.   Oath Keepers is a lean, mean, oath spreading machine, and we live by the credo “travel light, freeze at night” and always do our best to make every dollar donated go a long, long way (and we have been very fortunate to have incredible voluntary help, such as SWAT Magazine donating free ad space, and the wonderful artist who has volunteered to design our insignia, for free!).  But donations are still needed to run this effort.  So, any amount you can spare will make a big difference. 18.  But, as we said above, it is your conduct that matters most, and all the money in the world cannot replace boots on the ground, looking others eye-to-eye, and you speaking, writing, and sharing this message with passion and honor.   The survival of our Republic, and whether we shall be freemen or slaves, will depend on the conduct of our military and police, and that may well depend on what you and the rest of us in this band of brothers and sisters does.   Our future is in our hands.

NOTE: while Oath Keepers is non-profit, in that we are certainly not in this for the money, we will likely not seek tax deductible status because such comes with too many strings and limits on free speech.  We want to be able to lobby freely against candidates and liberty stealing, constitution violating legislation, and we want to be able to support candidates and bills that defend the Constitution.  We don’t expect to be too heavily involved in any politics, but we want that option.

OLDER UPDATE

We are working feverishly to answer everyone’s emails individually, so if you haven’t received an answer yet, please don’t think we’ve forgotten you.   It’s just that we have received hundreds and hundreds of emails.   It’s fantastic to see Oath Keepers take off like a rocket in this way, but it does make it hard to keep up!

If you have sent in a testimonial either by email or in the comments and it hasn’t been posted yet, rest assured it will be.   But still, if more than a week goes by and you don’t see yours up on the blog yet, please email us to make sure we did not overlook it somehow. 

Your testimonials are powerful and vital to the success of this effort.  These testimonials are all so moving that we have a tough times getting through them to post without tearing up. If you heard me (Stewart) on the radio this past week you heard my voice crack more than once during the reading of some testimonials.  There are some that are so moving I really just cannot read them aloud.

We are hearing over and over again what an impact they are having, with many people all over the web commenting on how moving the testimonials are and also commenting on how it really got their attention and made them think to see such serious, no bull men – many of them combat vets – expressing such serious thoughts about the future of our nation.  You are having a tremendous impact.   We now see some very, very serious discussions about the meaning of the oath and when it is right to refuse orders, among current duty, vets, and cops, which is exactly what we wanted to see happen. 

Upcoming Projects

One upcoming project is a tribute video to veterans.  This video will be set to the haunting and stirring song “Minstrel Boy’ as sung by Joe Strummer:

This will be to honor the men who, in their youth, many of them mere boys, went to war and sacrificed so much, with many of them not returning, and others returning wounded and scarred.   The theme will be that these men gave so much in the fight against fascism and communism, and we owe it to them to make sure that their sacrifice was not in vain. 

So, if you have photos of military and law enforcement family members (or of yourself) when they we young, that you would like to see in the video  (particularly veterans of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam) please email them in. 

If possible, include the name, unit, and years served, or their birth and death dates.  You can see an example of this in the site tribute (a picture of a young Marine who went off to war at the age of 16).   But even if you don’t know all of that info, please send the photo along with whatever info you have.

If you send in pictures, then at least one photo of each vet you want to honor will make it into the video.   We may not be able to use them all, since we want to make sure other vets get in, but we will certainly use all of them if we can!

That will be a powerful, moving video.   

Video of Active Duty and Vets Reading the Ten Orders We Will Not Obey:

This will be a very powerful and important part of out outreach effort!  The short video we have up now is actually a trailer and teaser for this longer ten minute video.   At the April 19, 2009 rally and elsewhere, we will take short video clips of active duty military, police, and also veterans reading off each of the ten orders we will not obey and we will splice them all into a montage of faces and voices with each one of you who appear in the video reading a short part of the declaration.  We hope to get dozens or even a hundred people in the video, young, old, black, white, brown, etc. from all branches, and ranging from young active duty guys, old gunnies, officers, and Vietnam vets.  So, please make a video of yourself or another vet (and especially the older vets, from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam) reading from the list of ten orders and the full explanations. You can read all of one of the ten or you can read them all – up to you.  We would especially like to see active duty read the first part of each of the ten, stating “we will NOT obey orders to ____” and then the rest can be read by vets, giving the history and the reasons why. 

If you are willing, please take a video camera to a gun show, to a VFW hall, VA hospital, or other places where vets come together, and find the older combat vets and show them the declaration of ten orders and ask them to read from them while you film.  Please ask their permission to use the footage in a video to be sent all over.

This site is dedicated to the memory of John William Adams (1925-2006), Oath Keeper extraordinaire.

After the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, John Adams, then age 16, lied about his age to join the Marines so he could fight those who had dared attack his country. His enlistment date was December 10, 1941, just three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor (see below). As a Marine rifleman, he fought the Japanese from island to island, across the pacific, including at Iwo Jima. We may have good men, but we never had better.

John Adams was my father-in-law. Once my young son, always full of questions, asked his Grandpa John "how many Japanese soldiers did you see go still in your [rifle] sights, Grandpa?" (yes, my son talks like that) Grandpa John, who usually was not at a loss for words, and never passed up an invitation to launch into a good story, just looked away for a moment, in a thousand yard stare, and then looking down at his grandson simply said "too many."

Until his death in 2006, he was a dedicated patriot who still took his oath to defend the Republic deadly serious.

May God grant you the courage to do likewise.

"STEALTH GOVERNMENT" WEAKENING THE POWER OF CITIZENS/STRENGTHENING THE POWER OF GOVERNMENT, While you were sleeping

The first fifty-six days of the Obama presidency have been—to put it mildly—planned frenzy. Frenzy in an attempt to keep We-the-People from knowing what’s really going on (chaos is a tyrant’s friend) and planned because it was! Just some of what Obama and his supplicant Congress have wrought includes:

• Seized over $1TRILLION in taxpayer funds from the US Treasury (in less than 2 months) for the so-called economic “stimulus package” and heavily- earmarked spending bills
• Committees held and are continuing to hold “kangaroo trials” of bank executives in ongoing “investigative” hearings, in order to divert the blame for the US’ economic disaster from the true culprits—which include but, are not limited to—Democrats Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd, former President Clinton and Barack Obama
• Grilling AIG CEO on bonuses paid to his employees, while knowing full well that it was Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CN) who wrote the legislation to protect these bonuses. Note: Dodd is now frantically trying to dance away from this as fast as he can
• Working diligently—via Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder—to so restrict the Second Amendment that it essentially becomes null and void
• Working diligently to so restrict talk radio (via use of the soon to be Obama FCC and the recently passed restrictive Durbin Amendment) that the First Amendment essentially becomes null and void
• Nationalizing almost every possible industry, so that the government will decide virtually all that We-the-People can and cannot do—just a few of these industries include banking, investments, automobile, oil and gas, energy and now even food growing and distribution
• Executive Branch control of the Commerce Department (which has traditionally been autonomous and controls the US Census Bureau) in order to Gerrymander districts so that Democrats will be in control nationwide—no elections will really be necessary
• Assigning the radical Obama Fraud Unit ACORN to work with the Commerce Department—again, the department that controls the US Census Bureau. Note: This usage of ACORN appears to ensure citizen-intimidation (as it affected during the 2008 elections) and the strong possibility (considering the organization’s biased and deceitful record) of over-counting certain groups
• Cutting US Defense Funds and decrease of the US nuclear arsenal
• Intentionally lowering the morale of the US Military by advising our wounded soldiers that they will soon have to pay for their own treatment
• HUGE increase in taxes on ALL energy use—for everyone—to appease the global warming crowd and appointing as Energy Tsar former leader of the Socialist Party International and an agent for world government Carol Browner. Note: Ms. Browner has said that when energy companies can provide their ‘smart systems’ she will be able to regulate how much energy is distributed to each and every private home!
• Trashing our friends while praising and courting our enemies
• Has already issued directives to the Missouri State and local police that they are to be on the watch for anyone displaying anti-North American Union or any 3rd party candidate (most specifically Ron Paul supporters) bumper stickers. They are being told that these are probably terrorists or militia members
• Recently, in San Francisco, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that she supports illegal immigrants and does not support the US legal systems attempts to stop them!

The above examples are only a few of those that Barack Obama has instituted in his first fifty-six days. And all of them have one thing in common. They are all planned and meant to weaken the power of US citizens and increase the power of Obama and his minions. Remember when I warned about Obama as an American Stalin? Are you getting scared yet?
